'03 Honda VTX 1800 S
Here I am with my VTX on my way back from Sturgis 2005, in Hungry Horse Mt.
"CRUZR" is my handle and the license plate on the bike.
Well, almost the newest, as I just bought a '06 Chrysler 300 C HEMI on January 27, 2006
(edit 07/02/09: I guess they are all old toys now.... )
And here is what it looks like as of 05/29/2009 with my new exhaust... Roadhouse Dooleys!

And here is the bike with my new Diamond Plate Trailer and Cobra Fatty Crashbar...

Here my VTX 1800 S is up on it's centerstand with my new trailer.
The license plate is "CRUZRII", just waitn' for it to be delivered.

I have since added more led blinkers and running lights to the trailer...

The Honda VTX 1800 is built in America!
Just down the street from the other American built motorcycle....
Well, it was when I bought the bike. For 2010 it's back to Japan.

Take a look at some pics I took of the installation of the dual batteries under the seat.
Had to move all the electronics to do it.

Sturgis...
Gotta get the VTX ready for.....
Sturgis 2005!

My plan was/is to leave for Sturgis 2005 on Thursday, 8/4/05 and arriving on Saturday, 8/6/05. I'm taking Wednesday off to pack up the bike. The closer it gets, the more I am thinking the bike and trailer will be all packed up the weekend before. So I may head out on 8/3/05. hmmmm?
I'll be staying at Buffalo Chip Campgrounds. I understand that it is THE Party Place. If you stay there bring your ear plugs! Well, that's what everyone says anyway.....
Below is a pic of the campgrounds and what they call the Pitchfork Fondue that they have at the Chips every night!
What is a Pitchfork Fondue you ask. Well it's "a big old slab of prime, ranch-raised Dakota buffalo steak, poke it on the end of a pitchfork, then sear it in a custom-made tank full of specially blended savory oils."

I am paid up at the Chips from Saturday, 8/6/05 till Sunday, 8/14/05, and don't have to be back in Seattle till Sunday 8/21/05. Not sure what I am going to do.
Any suggestions as to what to do? Email me with them by clicking on the Dragon gif below.
Here's a pic of Downtown Sturgis Main Street during
Sturgis 2004.
Click on the pic above to go to the Official Sturgis 2005 website.
There were over 531,000 people in 2004!
Remember to be safe. You never know what could happen.

I bought a Trailmaster Aspen Classic Tent trailer so I can sleep off the ground while on the trip. Here's a link to the Trailmaster website.
Here is a pic before I picked it up. Still a little on the dirty side.

Here it is open. Not quite opened all the way though, just enough to air it out.

I have changed all the trailer lights to leds so I can save the as many of those precious watts that I can for the electronic toys I bought for the bike.
I just bought some new wheels for the trailer too.

By the way, I got the license "X RATD" for the trailer.

I I found a great web site for the VTX. VTXOA.com and it's available because Honda Direct Line completely supports it. Support them as they will beat anybodies price! They will either beat it by 5% or 5 Bucks, whichever is greater. Can't go wrong there!
