To start again, my name is Gary Scherler

and this is my Home in CyberSpace...

    I live in Seattle, Washington in the United States of America.  I was born in 1954 in Tacoma, Washington.  My father was in the United States Air Force and, as usual for Air Force families, we moved every couple of years.  As such, I have lived all over the US and in several countries.  After my father retired from the Air Force we moved to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.  I attended Dhahran Academy for my 7th and 8th grade.  Then went to Notre Dame International in Roma, Italy....  We finally moved to Seattle (actually Tukwila, which is just south of Seattle.) where I graduated at Kennedy High School in Burien, Washington.

    My families origin was from Switzerland, on the German side.  Our family has a Coat of Arms dating back to 1422. 

     My interests include motorcycles, kit cars, boating, and camping.  I am the proud builder and  owner of a  CMC "C" 1955 Porsche Speedster Replica.    One of the most fun past times I have had were when I owned the "Bikini Patrol" a 25' Apollo cabin cruiser .   

    One of my toys is a '03 Honda VTX 1800 S.  I also have a Aspen Tent Trailer  and a Diamond Plate Trailer, that I can pull behind the bike.  I took the Aspen Tent Trailer to Sturgis in 2005.  That was my first long trip on a motorcycle.  I had a GREAT time!  The Diamond Plate Trailer I just bought in 2009.

I had to buy a new car as the Suzuki Grand Vitara I had was rear ended while I was at a stop light.  I ended up with a Chrysler 300 C with a 5.7 HEMI!

    I occasionally enjoy getting into Combat Flight Simulator and CFS II.  My brother and I fly on the Zone.  I use the call sign SeaTacRat and my brother is SeaTacPack.  (edit; At last I did awhile ago...)
