"Bikini Patrol"

This picture was taken up in the San Juan Islands, in Washington State.
A
"Bikini Patrol "was the name of my boat, but,
it was also often referred to as the "Plastic Pig" by a certain person.
At one time, I owned this 25' cabin cruiser. It was a 1978 Apollo. It's home was on a trailer in the back yard in Tukwila WA. As it was on a trailer I was able to go boating in many places. I have taken it up the Snake river, almost making it to Idaho. Been on the Columbia River from north of Richland up by the Hanford nuclear site ( good place for fishing), down to Arlington, OR. which is down-river from the Umatilla Dam. One of the best trips was taking it up to Desolation Sound, which is east of Vancouver Island. Another great trip was going to the San Juan Islands. It's only about 3 hours from Des Moines, WA. to La Conner, WA. which is the jumping off point to enter the San Juan's'. All of them were Fantastic destinations!

And , of coarse, the dinghy's
name was "Itsy-bitsy"

Sherry came up with name for the dinghy...
(maybe cause she's so dinghy, oops better not say that...haha)
